Our Story
Since 2019
Ziropa Aps was founded on April 19, 2019, by two young guys, Rasmus Vestergaard and Rasmus Wrang. The company produces quality lemonade and syrup from scratch, made with the BEST natural ingredients in several varieties.
We are very focused on getting the best ingredients, rather than conventional ones. The idea is for it to be homemade. With a passion for great drinking experiences, we have managed to take our company far.
It all started with wanting to create a drink package, and the very first variant produced was the mango syrup. Our focus with the product is to have a BALANCE between sweet and sour to achieve the GOOD taste.
How Did it Start?
Ziropa was founded by a group of university friends who share a passion for improving drinking experiences through handcrafted beverages such as lemonade and syrup. Our team brings a wealth of industry experience after working in bars and restaurants for many years, and we are dedicated to producing only the best products.
Our journey began in our own small dorm kitchen, where we eagerly experimented with fresh ingredients, spices, and various preparation methods. The driving force behind our passion for creating our exquisite range of handmade lemonades, syrups, and iced teas stemmed from our well-known joy in transforming simple ingredients into exceptional taste experiences. Our hands-on approach to product development was built on a deep respect for quality and genuine ingredients. This passion led us to explore a world of flavors using carefully selected ingredients.
We were inspired by our own experiences in bars and restaurants over the years, and our desire to create outstanding beverages with carefully chosen ingredients and attention to detail became a cornerstone of our approach. This drove us to become pioneers in refreshing beverages, dedicating ourselves to creating an experience that not only quenched thirst but also awakened the senses and created unforgettable moments for our customers.
Our Values
At Ziropa, we believe that the key to better drinking experiences through drinks, cocktails, and mocktails lies in using the most natural ingredients. This belief is reflected in our approach, which involves making each bottle from scratch, ensuring that our products maintain the highest quality and authenticity.

Sustainability
As part of our commitment to the green transition, we strive to implement measures that benefit the environment. Our ambition is to increase the focus on sustainability in our company and integrate greener solutions into our strategy.
We are purposefully aiming to optimize our packaging to minimize our environmental footprint. We are already working on initiatives such as:
– Using recycled plastic for our labels
– Reducing the amount of raw materials by introducing thinner glass bottles
– Reducing the size of our cardboard boxes
– Replacing plastic tape with paper tape
We have also made an active choice to introduce deposit labels on all our products, as we want to integrate our packaging into the circular ecosystem.
We also emphasize Danish production to reduce our environmental impact through transport and to support local economies. This is part of our ongoing commitment to minimizing our environmental impact and promoting a sustainable future.

We are two young guys who have a passion for better drinking experiences. We have moved to Aarhus to run a business with quality lemonade and syrup.

Rasmus Vestergaard
My name is Rasmus Vestergaard, 27 years old and originally from South Zealand, Karise.
I took the wrong highway and ended up in Aarhus instead of Copenhagen. I completed my master’s degree in innovation management and business development at Aarhus University in 2023. As an entrepreneur, I like to CREATE new things and see something grow. A value I possess is definitely having my heart in the things I do. I am EXTREMELY proud of having created Ziropa.
Rasmus Wrang Andresen
My name is Rasmus Wrang Andresen, 26 years old.
I come from Sønderborg and in the summer of 2018, I moved to Aarhus.
In 2023, I completed my master’s degree in management accounting at Aarhus University.
The best thing I like about being an entrepreneur is seeing when development happens and we experience positive growth in the company. It’s inspiring to be driven by entrepreneurship in the way that it benefits the population by creating better drinking experiences in collaboration with various partners.
